    Support

    Last updated: 2026-09-10

Email hello@atrix.dev and a person will read it. We answer within one working day, and usually a good deal sooner.

    The iPhone app

    Signing in

Atrix for iPhone is a companion to a workspace at atrix.dev. Tapping Sign in to Atrix opens your workspace’s own sign-in page in the browser and returns to the app, so you need an account there first — the app cannot create one.

If you want to see what the app is before you have an account, tap Look around with sample data on the first screen. It opens a complete sample workspace, and every screen works from there.

If signing in does not come back to the app

    • Make sure the address under the button is the workspace you expect. Tap change if it is not.
    • Finish the sign-in in the browser sheet the app opened, rather than in a separate Safari window — the return only works in the sheet.
    • If it still does not return, close the app fully and try once more.

    Photos and the camera

The app asks for photo access only when you attach a picture to a message, and for the camera only if you choose to take one. Declining either leaves everything else working. You can change both later in the iPhone’s Settings, under Atrix.

    Notifications

Notifications are asked for once and can be turned off in Settings at any time. Muting a single conversation is separate and lives in the app: open it, tap the ⋯ button and choose Mute. Mentions still reach you — that is deliberate.

Something looks wrong or out of date

The app talks to your workspace over the network, and it says so plainly when it cannot: a line at the top of the screen tells you what failed and offers to try again. If a screen says the workspace is running an older version than the app, the workspace has not been updated yet — tell us and we will look.

Deleting your account or your data

Your Atrix account belongs to the workspace that invited you. Ask an owner or admin of that workspace to remove you, or email us and we will do it. Removing an account removes the person’s access immediately, and their name stops resolving anywhere it appeared.

What was written stays with the workspace that owns it — a document somebody wrote is the company’s record, not a personal one — and a workspace owner can ask us to delete the whole workspace, which deletes all of it.

    Reporting something in a workspace

Everything written in Atrix is private to one company’s workspace and visible only to its members. If something in yours needs removing, anybody with the moderation permission can take a message down from the dashboard, and every removal is recorded. If you cannot reach anybody who can, email us.

    Security

If you believe you have found a vulnerability, email hello@atrix.dev with the words “security” in the subject. Please tell us what you found rather than publishing it, and give us a way to reach you — we will reply.
