Because a retainer is people, not software. We want to know what you are building and whether we are genuinely the right team before taking your money — and you should want the same. A short call settles that, and we invoice once it is scoped.
One execution of a mode: generating a spec, auditing a repository, or capturing a performance baseline. Chatting with the agent about work you have already generated does not consume a run.
Not to start. Develop mode needs nothing but a description, and you can audit any public repository by pasting its URL. Connecting a private repository is read-only, limited to the repositories you choose, and only needed on a paid plan.
Entirely, because we do not generate them. Scale mode reads real telemetry from your Vercel or Sentry account, records a baseline, and re-measures after you ship a fix. If nothing has been measured, we show you nothing.
